The life of a wedding photographer can sometimes be really sporadic with our schedules. For me, I wake up early to do Crossfit every morning, edit throughout the day with scattered meetings, phone calls and emails, then have weddings that go from the afternoon long into the night.
All I need to get great work done at my desk is to have some low key atmospheric electronic music, a cool breeze from my open windows, bright natural daylight, a nice cup of tea, and space under my desk for my pup to cuddle against my feet.
One of the best things about my workspace is that there’s always new beautiful printed images coming and going for each client’s package. Seeing and preparing these prints and packages bring so much joy to the work that I do because I love seeing my work transformed into a tangible item that will be loved and appreciated.

I realize that some of you might not have met me in person or really know who I am. I’d like to introduce more of myself to you so we can get to know each other better and you can get more insight into the work that I continue to pour my heart into.
I am passionate about wedding photography because I am utterly inspired by LOVE. I thrive when I am given the opportunity to work with couples who trust me enough to be raw and vulnerable because it allows me to capture their romance story as it unfolds in front of me. I live for those raw moments of connection – the way lovers exchange looks of tenderness, bursts of pure joy, and the whirlwind of emotions that life gives us. Each day is new, each day is a gift, no two weddings are exactly alike.
Most clients describe me as being artistic, joyful, comfortable and easy to trust when being photographed. They often recognize my dedication to the craft of my work and carrying the Spirit of Aloha. I love it when my clients turn into lifelong friends and continue to include me in all of their new milestones in life after the wedding day – everything from including me in their travels, welcoming me into their homes, celebrating anniversaries, vow renewals, pregnancies, and sharing the new adventures that they explore when they become parents and grow their families.
While most of my friends would agree that I am dedicated to the vision of my work and community, they might also say that I am free spirited, spiritual, adventurous, creative and fiercely loyal.
During my free time, you’ll find me training really hard with Crossfit, playing with my dog, or cooking beautiful vegan meals. On special days I indulge in my spiritual practices, spend time in nature, go skinny dipping in waterfalls and dance the night away. Yep, that’s me!
I look forward to getting to know you more, so please leave a comment and introduce yourself. I’d like to hear THREE things that bring happiness and fulfillment to your life. It’ll make my day! #PinkyPromise

Many people in my life have naturally asked how I fell in love with photography. It is simple, really. I fell in love with photography because I grew up understanding and getting to know my father through the photos that he left behind.
My father tragically passed away when I was 3 years old. I still have memories of us playing together, but past that, the only way I was able to learn about the kind of man he was was through the photos and videos that he captured while he was alive. I rarely heard stories about him because of how painful it seemed for my mother to talk about, so I allowed his photos to tell the story for me. The adventures he had, the beauty he saw in my mother, the excitement he had for travel, the ocean, cultures, and helping people. He saw the beauty in everything around him. These were the things that I saw and loved in him.
I am so thankful for each and every single photo that he has captured, and it is through this appreciation which has made me fall so in love with photography.
Love life, and live each day to the fullest. Create memories and capture the story so that it can be told for many years.
